Ray`s PE GE in Monroe

Kind of like a diner on the inside. I got a burger and curly fries. Both were really good. My friend got a po boy - also good but the best part was the bun.

Best food in Monroe. If you've never been you have got to try it. You'll love it too.

I hadn't been here in 30+ years so I didn't expect it to be as good as I remember... I was pleasantly surprised! Great Po'Boys!!

My friend Casey ordered food and it was uncooked. Very sloppy, nothing like the old PeGe’s. Poor customer service!!!!! Would not recommend anyone to eat there!!!

What an awesome experience! They are taking the right precautions and still serving well during Covid-19! The food is delicious and the service is great!

My experience was terrible. My meat & bun was burnt. I paid .50 for cheese I didn't receive. I also paid 1.50 for bacon that was burnt also. I called back but was told put food in fridge till tomorrow then bring back. I paid 60+ for food that couldn't even get eaten

Ray's has been a favorite place since college. It has been remodeled and under new establishment, but the food was good, service was excellent. Brought back so many good memories!

Best shakes and poboys ever

First off I just have to say, thank you Ray's pege for this amazing homemade ice cream I'm in heaven with every bite. You have good food too please don't ever stop making this homemade goodness. This takes me back to my childhood when my mom brought me here for the po boy and gravy and tht good ice cream😌😌😌

Just my all time favorite lunch spot!! Anytime we're working in that area we eat here. Whole roast beef poboy with gravy and fries/split (they add an extra fry and gravy and put on two plates) And you've GOT tondip your fries in the gravy or you're missing out!!! The owners are so sweet and have even nick named us the DIY couple because my husband and I work together flipping houses. Friendly, welcoming and delicious!!

I noticed my proportion is getting lesser and lesser I used to give me more fries now they don't give me near as many fries I don't think I'll go back

Roast beef poboy and gravey. It's all you need at Ray's.

Honestly I've only eaten here twice and both times have been fantastic. Gravy, shrimp poboy and fries were all amazing and I'll definitely be coming back more often. Prices are a tad high but I'd say worth it given the quality of the food received.

Ray's PEGE has been around since the 60s. My grandparents went on dates there. The food is still top notch and the service is always great.

FINGERNAIL in my SANDWICH!! Absolutely disgusting. Extremely unfriendly staff and everything I ordered was cold, not to mention utterly disgusting. Ray’s is also located in a dangerous part of town, as I witnessed a meth deal go down in the parking lot. For the love of God, keep your family and friends away from this place!

Food is delish!! Staff is friendly and our cup of sweet tea stayed full! Got the country fried steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Hubby got the fish poboy. Will definitely be a go to spot!

I just had surgery so I ordered through Grubhub (delivery was fast) I called these people to let them know my order was wrong and they put me in hold twice and then argued with me about my order which clearly says meat and cheese only. I finally just hung up the phone. Very very Rude

Good cuisine with fresh ingredients

Went up there for a milkshake walked into the window got prompt service courteous cashier. Milkshake was wonderful as usual enjoyed my stay I had to seed outside a beautiful day it's a good place for a good roast beef po-boy. Also they have the best cheeseburgers in town. Enjoyed it. I highly recommend everyone tries PG's at least once.

I ordered the roast beef poboy sandwich with fries and brown gravy. My food was not good at all. The bread on the sandwich was burnt, the sandwich was extremely bland and dry, the roast beef was ice cold, and my fries were soggy. The only good thing was the gravy.

Food was excellent for this town. It was way better then it was when I went with my now ex-wife (Satan 👹👿) along time ago. Food has improved the menu has expanded big time. Food was hot, fresh and delicious unlike my ex-wife!! Lol No but I will most definitely return again. Burger was delicious!!

My favorite place in the world.

Love the food. Seating area is very small. Haven't been in quite a while. Begged my daughter to go. I ordered fish dinner. They forgot about me. Served 4 tables before me who ordered after me. He apologized. I smiled and ate. Delicious! Four pieces of big, yummy fried fish, salad, bread, and a choice of side. Good deal for $9.99.

Smothered pork chop, green beans, cream potatoes with brown gravy. Just what the Dr ordered! Comfort food at it's best.

Good ice cream cones

Service is outstanding. Perfect little local spot, for great burgers and poboys. There's a wonderful lady that constantly checks on you and makes sure your drink is filled and you have what you need.

We had the specialty that they're known for, roast beef Po-Boys with with gravy and homemade fresh cut french fries. It was hot fresh and good it served with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato and a gravy on the side.They have any other things on their menus such as a daily lunch special that consists of plate lunches, they have hamburgers, other po boys, hamburger steaks, club sandwiches, and I'm sure have forgotten something besides their ice cream and Shakes. As always the food fresh and good and the service is good, the people are friendly, it it was clean and fast. I would recommend it to anyone.

Classic Po-Boy joint in Monroe. Changed owners awhile back, but still pretty good. They have other items like open-face hamburgers. Gravy is good, sides are good. Meals, including sides and drinks, will run about ~11 per person.
